WORD LAB:

Penn Libraries Text Analysis Research Community

WORD LAB is a text analysis research interest community at the University of Pennsylvania Libraries for all related research and disciplines. We have members interested in China and Japan, business, digital humanities, 18th-century literature, Victorian literature, and more!

Please join us for discussion and presentations every Tuesday in Vitale II (6th floor of Penn’s Van Pelt Library) from 1:30-3 pm. We have presentations and discussion leaders approximately every three weeks at WORD LAB; on the intervening weeks, we have a journal club and coding tutorials in OPEN LAB. Currently, we choose articles as a group and are working on the book Natural Langauge Processing with Python.

No registration or reservation is needed to join WORD LAB. Feel free to join us for as many or as few sessions as you can, even if you need to arrive late or leave early. You can enter Van Pelt with a photo ID if you are not a Penn affiliate. For more information or to join our mailing list, please email Molly Des Jardin at University of Pennsylvania Libraries.
