WORD LAB is a text analysis learning community at the University of Pennsylvania Libraries covering a wide range of research and disciplines, and has been meeting since Fall 2014. We've had members interested in East Asia, German, the Middle East, law, communications, computer and information science, linguistics, business, digital humanities, literature, and more! Our current organizers are co-founders Molly Des Jardin and Katie Rawson.
Please join us for discussion and presentations every Thursday in Van Pelt 526 (East Asian Seminar Room on the fifth floor) from 12-1:30 pm. We have a varied schedule of presentations, as well as discussions of research and projects (in the form of articles, blog posts, and videos).
No registration or reservation is needed to join WORD LAB. Feel free to join us for as many or as few sessions as you can, even if you need to arrive late or leave early. You can enter Van Pelt with a photo ID if you are not a Penn affiliate. For more information or to join our mailing list, please email Molly Des Jardin at University of Pennsylvania Libraries.
